Ebooks are digital books imported through the desktop or mobile apps to your reMarkable.
Things to know before moving ebooks to your reMarkable

Your reMarkable paper tablet supports the ebook format EPUB, a format available with many ebook retailers

Some ebooks are DRM (digital rights management) protected, which is not supported on reMarkable at this time

You can't read Kindle books directly on reMarkable
Page navigation
View all the pages inside an ebook by tapping Page overview ( 
). Go back to a specific single page by tapping a page in the overview layout, or by tapping Back in the top left corner.
Turn pages by swiping left or right. Navigate to a specific page in an ebook by tapping Go to page in page overview, and entering the page number you want to go to.
You can also use Quick browse to navigate through pages in your ebooks. Quick browse was included in software version 2.9, head here to learn how to get the latest software on your device.
How to add note pages in ebooks
Here’s how you can add a blank note page directly after the page you’re currently reading:

Tap the Document settings icon in the toolbar menu.

To add a new blank page, tap Add note page.

A new page will appear after the page you were viewing.
If you want to add a blank note page somewhere else in your ebook:

Open an ebook.

Tap Page overview (

To add a new page, tap Add page in the top menu bar.

How to delete note pages in ebooks

Open an ebook.

Tap Page overview ( 
).

Long-press on the page you want to delete. If you want to delete more pages, simply tap them.

Tap Delete and confirm.
Pages that are part of the original ebook can’t be deleted or moved out to other documents.
Organize your ebooks
Ebooks can be organized by moving them into folders under My files. All your ebooks will be displayed in the ebook section on your home screen, regardless of where they are located.
Text settings
Tailor the ebook view to your preferences using the Text settings menu, where you can adjust text size, font, justification, page margins, and line spacing.
Note: text settings are only available for ebooks, and not PDFs, or other files.
How to change text settings
1. Open the ebook you want to read.
2. Tap the Ebook options icon, in the side menu bar.
3. Tap Text settings.
4. Tap directly to adjust the settings.
5. Tap Done to close the settings.
What to do if an ebook isn’t displaying text properly

Go to Text settings while you have the ebook open. Change the justification and the line spacing. You can also try to change the page margins and the size of the text.

If changing the text settings doesn’t make a difference, you can try to delete the ebook from your reMarkable and import it again using our apps.
