We offer a 100-day satisfaction guarantee for orders including reMarkable devices, so you can try our paper tablets risk free. If you decide that you want to return your paper tablet, we offer free returns and a full refund within 100 days, starting from the date that your order was delivered.
We can only refund orders purchased through our webshop. If you purchased your paper tablet at a different online or retail store, contact the store for refund details.
Returns that are eligible for a satisfaction guarantee refund must include all products received after ordering at remarkable.com (this means your Marker and folio, if applicable), but it’s not necessary to return all Marker tips.
If there are any differences between what you ordered and what you returned to us, our warehouse may need extra time to process your return. In such cases, it may take longer to issue your refund. We also reserve the right to charge you for extra shipping and handling costs if your returned products don’t match what you ordered from us. We can only refund products are returned to us and confirmed by our warehouse.
To submit a return request, use the same email address that your order confirmation email was sent to. If you don’t have access to the order confirmation, contact us for help.
Returning for repair or replacement

We offer a 1-year limited warranty. If you subscribe to Connect, your paper tablet may also be covered by the reMarkable Protection Plan.
Most issues can be resolved without repairing or replacing a product. Before you start the returns process, we recommend that you first read our troubleshooting and getting started articles, and contact us for help. To find out if the issue is covered by warranty, read our limited warranty policy.
When returning a product for repair or replacement, only the faulty product needs to be sent back to us. Any returns without the required information, returns sent directly to our headquarters, or returns that don’t follow the returns process will be rejected.
If the issue you're experiencing isn’t covered by our warranty, it's possible to buy a refurbished paper tablet at a reduced price.
Shipping your return
Ship your return using DHL. You can schedule a pickup or drop off your package at a DHL Service Point.
As long as your address is eligible for DHL’s pickup service or within range of a DHL Service Point, your return is free. If you’re outside of DHL’s service area, we’ll help you find an alternative option, but it will vary in cost depending on your location.

Damaged batteries
Damaged batteries must be treated as hazardous materials. Don’t return your paper tablet if the battery is swelling, leaking, or if you suspect that the battery is damaged. In this case, take a picture of your paper tablet, showing the serial number and today's date, and send it to us.
After our support team has reviewed the issue, it’s important that you safely dispose of or recycle your paper tablet using a local recycling service. Don’t puncture, drop, or incinerate the battery, as this may cause further damage and risk.
