In General settings you can log in to your account, see your account and subscription details, and update to the latest software version.
Flight mode can be enabled or disabled under General settings. You'll see an icon on the home screen when flight mode is turned on.
Pair your reMarkable with our cloud service to sync files across devices. If you didn't pair your device to your reMarkable account in the setup process, you can do this later by going to Account in General settings. Your reMarkable needs to be connected to Wi-Fi in order to be paired.
Please note that your reMarkable account can only be paired to one device at a time.
By doing a factory reset all your files, data, and settings on your reMarkable will be erased. You can perform this action by going to Account in Settings > General and then tapping Factory reset.
After the factory reset is complete, your reMarkable will begin setup and onboarding as normal.
If you pair your device to your reMarkable account using a one-time code after a factory reset, all the files and documents synced to our cloud service will be accessible again from your device.
Under Software you’ll find information about the software version that’s installed on your device. Here you can also download the latest software.
How to update to the latest version:
- Under Software, tap Version.
- Tap Check for updates to see if there are any new updates available.
- Tap Download version to update to a new version.
- When the download is finished, click Restart device to complete the update.
Your device is set to auto-update by default. This setting is recommended as it ensures that you'll always have the latest updates and the newest functionality whenever we add something new.
With auto-update enabled you’ll get a notification on the home screen to restart your device when a new software version has been downloaded. Turn auto-update off by tapping the on/off toggle switch.
Under Subscription Plan, you can find information about your current subscription status.
