Software release 2.13
Please note that due to bug fixes and necessary patches 2.13 was a limited release. All the included features below will be rolled over and added to our forthcoming release - 2.14.
In this release, we’ve added grayscale file export and a gray highlighter for shading back into your toolkit, for those who prefer to work in black and white. There are improvements to Integrations, with updates for Google Drive, OneDrive, and Dropbox users. We’ve also introduced a new way to import files to your paper tablet using only your web browser by logging into my.remarkable.com.
Gray highlighter and file export
Documents can now be sent with the highlighter and other writing tools in grayscale instead of color. In addition to yellow, green, and pink highlighter colors, we’ve added a gray highlighter that gets progressively darker as you layer it, perfect for detailed shading.
To view files in our mobile and desktop apps with support for the new gray highlighter, or to send files by email in grayscale from your device, please update to version 2.13 or newer.
Improved integrations
Google Drive users now have the ability to access any drives they’ve been invited to share. Shared drives will appear as folders in Google Drive from the Integrations menu on device.
It's also now possible to add several different OneDrive integrations to my.remarkable.com, making it easier to access both your personal and business content from your reMarkable.
In Dropbox, we’ve improved how PDFs are previewed, making it easier to find your files.

Import files using your browser
We’ve also introduced a new way to import files to your paper tablet using your web browser, great for if you’re on the go, or don’t have access to either our mobile or desktop apps.
Log in to my.remarkable.com, and drag and drop the files you want to transfer from your desktop into the marked area. Works with PDF, EPUB, JPG, and PNG files up to 100MB.
