Pair with the cloud
Once you've set up your paper tablet, pair your device with the reMarkable cloud to easily transfer documents and ebooks and backup your notes.

Download our apps to sync your files
Use our mobile and desktop apps to view, organize, import, and download files. You can also use the apps to quickly refer to your notes when you’re on the go. The desktop app also lets you present ideas and content from your reMarkable live, by using our Screen Share feature.
The ‘reMarkable Companion’ mobile app is available in the App Store and Google Play.

How do I get started with Connect?
You can purchase Connect at remarkable.com or at my.remarkable.com. Most devices come with a 1-year Connect subscription included so you can try the service without needing to pay up front. Once you’ve had time to explore, we’ll send a reminder to let you know when billing starts.

How do I sync my files?
Pair your reMarkable with our cloud storage service to sync files across different devices. Once you’ve created an account and downloaded our apps it all happens seamlessly.

How do I switch to left-handed mode?
Go to Accessibility settings to switch between right- and left-handed mode. Just tap the Menu icon in the top left corner, Settings at the bottom of the sidebar, then Accessibility.
How can I set the language used for handwriting conversion and the keyboard?
Go to Language settings to choose between on-screen keyboard languages and set the language for the handwriting conversion feature. You can access Language settings by tapping Menu in the top left corner, Settings at the bottom of the sidebar, then Language.
How do I send a file by email?
You can share notebooks (and notebook pages), PDFs, and ebooks by email direct from your device. See how to send files by email here.
How can I send web articles using Read on reMarkable?
Follow the step-by-step instructions found here, to send web content to your reMarkable to read without distractions. This extension is currently available for Google Chrome.
