Software release 2.14
We’re excited to be introducing tags in 2.14. You can use tags to add keywords to your notes, folders, and documents to more easily categorize and filter them. Rolled over from our last release, we’ve added a gray highlighter option and grayscale file export back into your toolkit if you prefer to work in black and white. There are updates for Google Drive, OneDrive, and Dropbox users too.
Organize with tags
Tags let you create and attach keywords to notes and documents, making them easier to find, browse, and filter when you’ve got a lot of different content to manage. Use tags to sort your notes into categories, by project, or priority level.
Create tags that best fit your routine for a smoother workflow, and rename or remove them as needed. Sort and filter by tag within Notebooks, Folders, and Pages from the Tags overview in the main menu. They’ll also appear in the Page overview screen when browsing inside your notebooks and documents.
Gray highlighter and PDF export
Documents can now be sent from your device with the highlighter and other writing tools in grayscale instead of color. In addition to yellow, green, and pink, we’ve added a gray highlighter that overlaps — perfect for detailed shading.
To view and export files in grayscale with support for the gray highlighter in our mobile and desktop apps, you’ll need to update them to version 2.14 or newer.
Improved cloud storage integrations
Google Drive users now have the ability to access content located in shared drives. They’ll appear as separate folders in any accounts that you’ve added to the Integrations menu on your device.
It's now possible to add several different OneDrive accounts to my.remarkable.com, making it easier to access personal and business content from your paper tablet. In Dropbox, we’ve improved how PDFs are previewed as thumbnails to make it easier to find your files.
