Improved Functionality
Share via email – improved feedback
We've improved the way in which the Share feature provides feedback to the user. The reMarkable will display an error message if you have submitted an incorrect email address.
You will also be better notified if the file you are attempting to send is too large. In such cases you can export your documents by using the reMarkable desktop app. If the document should fail to send for any other reasons, you have the option to retry, or to edit the recipient email address before sending the document again. These improvements make it easier to share your documents and notes from the reMarkable.
Fixed Functionality
Improved file export
We've fixed a bug where using the Move tool or exporting a PDF file could reveal fragments of erased lines.
Remember Flight mode and Wi-Fi settings
The reMarkable will now remember your Wi-Fi settings and Flight mode settings after a restart.
Remember writing tool settings
We've improved the way the reMarkable remembers the settings you've chosen for your writing tools. The previously used pen or pencil type in a document, as well as sub-settings like thickness and color, are now remembered. These settings are also kept after a restart.
Passcode interface
We’ve fixed the problem where the passcode screen in some cases would set an extended lockout time.
