Unresponsive paper tablet
If your reMarkable paper tablet appears frozen and does not respond, and for example, nothing happens when pressing the buttons or using the Marker, try the below steps.
- Turn off the device by holding down the power button for at least 15 seconds.
- Wait for five seconds.
- Restart the device by pressing the power button for two seconds.
If the device still doesn't respond try charging your reMarkable with a different USB charger, preferably using a micro USB cable connected to mains power. Charge for at least 24 hours before using your reMarkable again.

Line defect on the screen
