Troubleshooting
What to do if you’re having trouble setting up your account
My reMarkable doesn’t show that I’ve got a Connect subscription.
Disconnecting your device can solve this issue. Here's how:
- Go to my.remarkable.com and sign in.
- Click Manage device.
- Click Remove.
- Reconnect your device by using a one-time code. You'll find instructions from step 5 in this guide.
Once you’ve reconnected your reMarkable, your device should display your current subscription.
I created an account without the activation link and bought a subscription by mistake.
In this case, you’ll need to cancel your current subscription and allow the 30-day period to run out. Once your subscription plan is no longer active, please contact our support team to get a new activation link. You’ll be able to sign in using the new link and activate your original paid subscription.
The activation link has expired.
Please contact our support team so they can resend your order confirmation with a new activation link. Once you get it resent, click the new link, then log in to your account.
I can’t sign in to my.remarkable.com.
If you can’t sign in, you can reset your password at my.remarkable.com. Just enter your email address and select "Forgot your password?". If you don’t receive an email to reset your password, you might have provided an incorrect email address, or you don’t have an account linked to that email address.
The ‘Access your 100-day free trial’ button in my order confirmation doesn’t work.
If clicking the ‘Access’ button in your order confirmation email doesn’t open a web link, scroll to the bottom of the email and copy the activation link there. Paste the link into the address bar of your browser and click enter. You’ll then be able to activate your account.
Business customers
Connect subscriptions are individually linked to each personal reMarkable account. They can’t be transferred or used on multiple reMarkable devices. However, each of the reMarkable paper tablets bought for your employees can be individually set up with a Connect plan at my.remarkable.com.
* To create a new account, enter your email address and choose a password. We'll send you a verification email. Check your email inbox and follow the steps to verify your account. If you don’t receive the verification email, check your spam folder. It’s also possible that you used a different email address when signing up, or Facebook or Google for authentication.
