No Plan
In this article you’ll find an overview of the features that are included in No Plan.
You don’t need a subscription plan to enjoy better thinking with a reMarkable paper tablet. For customers who don’t want a monthly plan right now or cancel their subscription, our 'No Plan' option gives you access to basic note-taking features.
So you can still keep your notes organized, write with different tools and templates, annotate PDFs, sketch, and read without any distractions. You'll also be able to download our apps, import files, and use our Read on reMarkable feature.
Without a subscription, you can still use the cloud to store and sync your notes. However, files will stop syncing to the mobile and desktop apps if they haven’t been opened in the last 50 days. They’ll still be automatically stored on your paper tablet.

How 50-day sync works
Documents that you haven’t opened for more than 50 days will stop syncing across devices. These documents will only be available on your paper tablet, not on the desktop or mobile apps.
How to sync documents
While connected to Wi-Fi, open the files you need access to. This will automatically sync your files across all your connected devices. Make sure to open the documents you want to sync once every 50 days to keep them updated in the cloud.
Read on reMarkable
Send any web page to your paper tablet using Read on reMarkable. This feature is available for all our users, regardless of their subscription plan, but needs to be installed separately in Google Chrome and Office.
Use the browser extension to send articles as PDFs or in a simplified text format to your device.
Once you’ve logged into your account and sent content to your reMarkable paper tablet, you can review, annotate, and focus on the task you’re working on without any distractions. Save web articles for later and build an offline reading list you can go back to when you have time.
Access your files with our desktop and mobile apps
Once you’ve set up the reMarkable desktop or mobile apps, all your notebooks, documents, and ebooks will be synced across your devices when connected to Wi-Fi.
